Winners of Our Second Annual Student Podcast Contest

The inside monologue of an anxious teenager. An interview with a Holocaust survivor. A fictional radio report a few robotic takeover. A real story about what it’s wish to have a child at 15.

These are just some of the successful items from our Second Annual Student Podcast Contest, wherein we invited youngsters to create an unique audio program about something they needed in 5 minutes or much less.

We acquired almost 900 submissions — together with interviews, conversations, evaluations, investigations, private tales and fictional tales — from college students everywhere in the world.

But there have been 39 entries — 12 winners, 15 runners-up and 12 honorable mentions — that stood above the remainder. These podcasts pulled us in proper from the beginning and stored our consideration to the top. They introduced their subjects to life with music, environmental noise, media clips and the human voice. They have been entertaining, informative and emotionally gripping.

But don’t take our phrase for it. You can hearken to all of the finalists for your self, under.
